We wanted to cross some of Cougarwood's fillies on another Driftwood stallion and found what we were looking for in MP Rojo Wood. We have bred a few mares to Rojo as a two year old and have one filly that has wonderful looks and should be very athletic. Rojo is a bay roan color with a beautiful silver color to him. We wanted to have as close up bloodlines to Driftwood as we could get so decided on going with a son of Lone Drifter (Potter Ranch). We also wanted color and decided the roan gene is what we are striving for. Rojo is a grandson of Driftwood Ike by Driftwood and also a grandson of Moore Yen AAA by Yendis AAA by Jet Deck on the top side. On the dam side he is a great grandson of Goldseeker Bars (Supreme Champion, AQHA Champion, sire of World Champions and ROM performance and ROM racing offspring). He also goes to Driftwood on the dam's side. Rojo has been at the trainers in 2007 and has had about 6 months of professional training and has already shown he is a winner!
